Payments on Motorway are secure, fast and flexible.
A bank transfer to your Motorway account means you can then authorise the payment and Motorway will disperse the funds to the right place – to pay the seller and to settle any outstanding finance – saving you the hassle.
You can make a transfer to your account at the time you want to pay, or in advance to reduce needing your accounts team to be available.
QR Code
If you've chosen not to use Motorway Move, when your driver arrives for a collection, they must now scan the QR code presented by the Seller and enter your unique collection PIN to start the collection.
If you are using Motorway Move, you will not need to use your QR Code.

To pay for a vehicle on Motorway, please follow these steps:
- Find the vehicle within your purchases with the status ‘Checks complete’
- Click on the three dots to open the menu
- Select ‘Vehicle payment’ – you'll see a summary of the payments to the seller, for finance and fees that go out once you confirm payment
- If needed, make one transfer to your motorway account for the amount shown. Your Motorway account details will also be displayed here.
- Authorise the payment in one click.
When you pay on Motorway you’re billed on the final price paid for a vehicle, not your winning bid price.
If you are not on Motorway Pay, you will be required to pay the seller directly. You will find the bank details on the vehicle profile alongside all other documents. All cash payments are strictly prohibited when purchasing vehicles through Motorway.
