To cancel a Motorway Move booking, please contact collections@motorway.co.uk or call 020 3318 7631.
Depending on the timings of the booking and the cancellation, you may be liable for some or all of the Motorway Move booking fee. The following pricing Terms and Conditions are applicable to working days. The timings in question are adjusted where appropriate to include days when we are closed, such as Christmas Day.
Applicable cancellation fee policy:
- Cancellation 24 hours or more before the scheduled collection time:
- If you cancel a Motorway Move booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled collection time, you won’t be invoiced for any fee.
- Cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled collection time:
- If you cancel a Motorway Move booking due to the seller not making themself available at the scheduled collection time, you won’t be invoiced for any fee.
- If you cancel a vehicle collection due to you and the seller not coming to an agreement on the final price for the vehicle (e.g. if there is undisclosed damage) you will be invoiced 50% of the fee. This is conditional on you filling out our Adjustment & Cancellation form, and this form passing our validation.
- If you submit an Adjustment & Cancellation form that is deemed ‘unjustified’, or fail to submit one at all, you will be invoiced 100% of the fee.
- If you cancel a vehicle collection within 24 hours of the scheduled collection time for a different reason, you will be invoiced 100% of the fee.
- If a vehicle collection gets cancelled because you are unavailable to make payment, you will be invoiced 100% of the fee.
In the case where you are charged less than the full fee, you will see an adjusted invoice. In some cases, you may get credit applied to your account instead.
For any reduction in fees, you need to fill out the Adjustment & Cancellation form, which will be reviewed by a Motorway agent.
