You can now buy vehicles from Mobilize Financial Services to sell their end-of-lease vehicles. Here's what you need to know before bidding.
The Vehicles
- Predominantly Renault and Nissan models
- Typically under 4 years old and under 50,000 miles
- Often with full service history
These vehicles are owned by Mobilize, not the person who has been driving them.
Collection: What's Different?
Motorway Move is mandatory for all Mobilize vehicles. You cannot self-collect or arrange your own transport.
This is because every collection includes a professional BVRLA-compliant vehicle inspection carried out at the point of pickup. The inspection report — covering vehicle condition, any damage, and contents such as charging cables — is shared with you, Mobilize, and the customer after collection.
Paying for Mobilize Vehicles
You will pay for Mobilize vehicles as you normally would on motorway, if you use Motorway Pay, these vehicles are available for Protect as normal.
Communication and Contact Details
To protect the privacy of Mobilize customers, their contact details will not be shared with you at any point. All post-sale communication is managed through Motorway.
If you have a query about your purchase or collection, contact the Motorway support team via dealers@motorway.co.uk or 020 3988 4396
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I collect the vehicle myself? No — Motorway Move collection is required on all Mobilize vehicles. This is non-negotiable and ensures the BVRLA inspection takes place at the point of handover.
Why can't I see the seller's contact details? Mobilize customers are protected under a managed communication process. All queries go through Motorway.
What if the vehicle has more damage than shown in the listing? The collection report captures the vehicle's condition at the point of pickup. Any discrepancies between the listing and the collection report should be raised with the Motorway support team promptly via 020 3977 0167. If you need to make a price adjustment due to additional damage, please contact 020 3977 0167 or mobilize-fs-inspections@motorway.co.uk
What happens if the car doesn't sell? If no bid meets the minimum sale price across all auction tiers, the vehicle is withdrawn and returned to Mobilize's own process. It will not proceed to sale.
