From 1st January, Motorway Protect will be provided under a 'reimbursement scheme model’, instead of the previous regulated insurance model. This will allow us to be more flexible with future changes and ensures we can deliver an excellent dealer experience in 2026 and beyond. As a result of this change, VAT will now apply to Motorway Protect, instead of Insurance Premium Tax.
The price will be:
- £44.99 ex VAT
- £53.99 inc VAT
For VAT-registered dealers, VAT can be reclaimed in the usual way, so the end cost to your dealership will remain £44.99.
