How can I reduce my Dealer Cancellation Rate?

Your Dealer Cancellation Rate can be tracked via the Account Reporting Section of Motorway Pro. Dealer Cancellation Rate excludes seller cancellations. 

You may be able to reduce your Dealer Cancellation Rate in a number of ways. Please find our guidance below:

  • Check the profile. We suggest reviewing factors such as location and service history in detail, to ensure the vehicle matches your needs. 

  • Communicate promptly with the Seller. Cancellations may occur when you do not reach out to the seller within 24 hours, especially when you collect yourself. If you're struggling with administration, you can use Motorway Move for delivering your vehicles, which takes care of all admin and customer service. 

  • Use our onsite Price Adjustment Form. If you are onsite and the seller has not accepted a price reduction due to additional damage found upon inspection, using our onsite price adjustment form can reduce cancellations as we have a team on hand to speak to the Seller and try to support a resolution to save the sale. 

  • Use Motorway Pay. Dealers find that Sellers trust the Pay product more and are more amenable to accepting price reductions for valid additional damage.
